When is my next EMI due? How can I view my EMI Status?

EMI due date is 5th of every month. You may refer this in the Statement of Account.
You can view your EMI Status on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >> Active Loans >> Click More details icon > Select Loan Details.

How do I change my EMI due date?

We currently do not have an option of changing the EMI due date. This is keeping in mind the uniformity of payment due dates for all our customers.

How can I get my Statement of Account?

You can view and also download your Statement of Account on our Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >> Active Loans >> Click View details > Click on statements Tab > Click Statement of Account >Send Email/ Export to PDF document

How do I get my Welcome Letter?

You can view and also download your Welcome Letter on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >>Active Loans>> Click View details > Click on statements Tab > Click Welcome Letter > Send Email/ Export to PDF document

How do I get my Interest Certificate?

You can view and also download your Interest Certificate on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >>Active Loans>> Click View details > Click on statements Tab > Click Interest Certificate > Send Email/ Export to PDF document/Generate report

How do I get my Repayment/Amortisation Schedule?

You can view and also download your Amortization/Repayment Schedule on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >> Active Loans >> Active Loans >> Click Repayment Schedule > Send Email/ Export to PDF document

How do I get my Provisional Certificate?

You can view and also download your Provisional Certificate on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >>Active Loans>> Click View details > Click on statements Tab > Click Provisional Certificate> Send Email/ Export to PDF document/ Generate report

How do I get my Insurance Certificate?

If the insurance is issued, you can place a request to Capital First by writing to us on customer.care@capitalfirst.com to obtain the insurance certificate.

Alternatively you can log a request through Customer Portal log in > Select Submit your query > Input details>> Submit

How do I get my NOC for Consumer Durable / Personal Loan/ Business Loan/ Home Loan / Loan Against Property? Post loan closure on system, NOC can be emailed to your registered email ID with us. You can view and also download your No Due Certificate on Customer Portal.

Log in to the Customer Portal >>Closed Loans>> Click NOC > Send Email/ Export to PDF document

How do I get my NOC for Two Wheeler OR Pre-owned Car Loan?

Post loan closure on system, NOC will be sent to your registered mailing address updated in our records.

Alternatively, you can place a request to Capital First by writing to us on customer.care@capitalfirst.com or you can log a request through Customer Portal log in > Select Submit your query > Input your request for NOC>> Submit

Please ensure your Vehicle Registration Copy (RC copy) is submitted to Capital First post the loan is disbursed.

How do I update my Email ID?

You can update your Email ID by logging into our Customer Portal and by clicking my Personal Details>> EMAIL Id Update>> Add >> Save

How do I update my Mobile no/Landline?

You can update your Mobile no/Landline by logging into our Customer Portal and clicking my Personal Details>> Mobile no/Landline Update>> Add >> Save

How do I update my Address?

You can update your Address by logging into our Customer Portal and clicking my Personal Details>>Address Update>> Add >> Save ** Updation subject to submission of valid KYC documents

Alternatively, you can place a request to Capital First by writing to us on customer.care@capitalfirst.com along with you valid address proof which needs to be updated.

How can I make my overdue payment?

You may login to our Customer Portal >>Active Loans>> Click More details icon > Click on Missed an EMI/Please make payment here.

Alternatively you may visit www.capitalfirst.com, Click on Home Page>>Quick Pay Tab

You may also visit any Axis Bank branch in your location to make an overdue payment. Please produce your loan account number while making the payment.

How do I foreclose my loan?

Consumer Durable Loan can be closed through our customer portal or by writing to customer.care@capitalfirst.com

For other loans please call us at 1860 500 9900 or write to us at customer.care@capitalfirst.com to place a request for Foreclosure letter.

You may also visit any Axis Bank branch in your location to make an overdue payment. Please produce your loan account number while making the payment.

How can I make my foreclosure payment?

You can visit your nearest Capital First Branch and make payment through cash (Upper Limit Rs 50,000) /cheque mode and get the e-receipt for the payment made through email /SMS

Please note: The payment credit should be received within the validity of the FCL letter issued by Capital first.

Are there any foreclosure charges applicable?

Foreclosure charges are applicable for all loans except consumer durable loan. We do not levy foreclosure charges for consumer durable loans.

When will I get my original Property Papers back after I foreclose my loan? (Applicable for Home Loan / Loan against commercial Property Or Mortgage Loan type Only)

Once the loan is foreclosed in our system the original property documents will be handed over in 15 working days from date of closure.

For any other loan all your document including security PDC's will get purged post loan closure.

How and when can I make a part prepayment? (Applicable for Home Loan / Loan against commercial Property Or Mortgage Loan type Only)

Part Payment is not allowed within first 12 months from the loan disbursal. Post 12 months, customer is allowed up to 20% of the current Principle Outstanding.

Do I have to bear any prepayment charges?

No, but if part payment made within 12 months of the last part payment received to Capital First then the charges will be applicable at 3% of the Principle Outstanding

How do I swap my existing mode of loan repayment?

You need to submit the below mentioned documents in order to ensure smooth processing of your EMIs.

  • 3 New ECS Mandate Forms - signed and authorized by your new Bank
  • Half yearly bank account statement of the new account
  • Swap charges of Rs 500 (to be paid either in cash or by cheque)
  • A Cheque of the Current EMI
  • (Please select appropriate option and cheque nos as per the loan type)
  • 7 Blank Cheques (BIL: 1 SPDC with Full Loan Amount and 6 Security cheques with 6 Months EMI amount)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (CD: 1 SPDC if the disbursal Amount is more than 1 Lakh)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (HFCHL: 1 SPDC with 100% Loan Amount)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (HL: 1 SPDC with 50% Loan Amount)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (LAP: 1 SPDC 25% of loan Amount)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (LCP: 1 SPDC of EMI*3)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (PLCL: 1 SPDC of Full Loan Amount)
  • 1 Blank Cheque (PLTW: 1 SPDC of Full Loan Amount)
  • 3 Blank Cheques (TW: 1 SPDC of Full Loan Amount and 2 SPDC's of 3 EMI Amount)
  • 3 Blank Cheques (BIL-PL 1 SPDC of Full Loan Amount and 3 SPDC's of 6 EMI Amount)
Important Notes:
  • All the cheques should have the payee name as "Capital First Limited" (For CFL loans) or "Capital First Home Finance Private Limited" (For HFC loans)
  • All Security cheques should be CTS 2010 complaint only.
  • Date field should be left blank for all security cheques.
  • All Security cheques should bear your signature.
  • There should not be any overwriting or alteration on the cheques.
  • No counter signature is allowed on the cheque.
  • The swap would be effective in the next month's EMI on receipt of the new repayment documents on or before 10th of current month else it would be effective from subsequent month's EMI.

PTDS is deductible on interest under Section 194A of the Income Tax Act 1961.

What is the Capital First Limited PAN Number and Service TAX number?

How do I apply for my TDS refund?
  • All customers who are liable to deduct the TDS, must pay TDS as per applicable rate (currently 10%) for the interest and fees being paid to Capital First Limited.
  • Customer must deposit the TDS amount so due into the government account every month within the due date prescribed.
  • As per the Income Tax Act, 1961, the customer should file TDS return within the due date prescribed at the end of each calendar quarter.
  • Once returns are filed, customer must raise a TDS refund request to Capital First Limited

If you are claiming TDS refund for the first time we would require below documents for processing:

  • 1. EPS form (attached)
  • 2. Original cancelled cheque (Name and account number should be clearly mentioned)
  • 3. Original Form 16 A (with stamp in case of proprietorship)
  • 4. Request letter on letterhead

If customer has already claimed refund earlier through us we would require only Form 16 A with stamp and request letter.

Does the TDS certificate need to be submitted in original?

Yes. Original TDS certificate is required to be submitted for claiming the refund.

Where can I send the TDS certificates?

You can send digitally signed TDS certificates along with scan copy of request letter to customer.care@capitalfirst.com, Alternatively, hard copies of Original TDS certificates along with request letter and copy of cancelled cheque can be submitted at a Capital First branch.

What are the dates by which the TDS certificates must reach Capital First Limited?

The original TDS certificates along with request letter must reach Capital First Limited by following dates:

  • On or before 30th September for the quarter ending on June 30th.
  • On or before 31st December for the quarter ending on September 30th.
  • On or before 31st March for the quarter ending on December 31st.
  • On or before 31st July for the quarter ending on March 31st.

In the event of non-adherence to the above-mentioned timelines, Capital First is not obligated to make the TDS refund.

What is an EBC card?

Capital First Limited issues an Easy Buy card to its privileged customers. This card issues you pre-approved Consumer Durable Product Loan limit. You can use this card to buy your favorite consumer durable by simply swiping your card at dealer outlets we have a tie up with. This is not a credit card.

What is the loan amount on the EBC?

The pre-approved loan amount on your EBC card depends on the loan amount assigned to you by Capital First at the time of your taking a Consumer Durable loan. This loan amount varies for each individual.

Where all can I use this card?

You can use the EBC at any of the dealer outlets we have a tie up with in India.

When will I receive my Easy Buy Card?

You will be eligible for an EMI card after successful clearance of your 1st 4 EMIs. The card will be dispatched to you after 45 days from payment of the 4th EMI.

What is my Easy Buy Card limit?

You can view your EBC card limit on our Customer Portal >>Click on 'Cards' tab on to view your EBC card limit

What is the current status of my Easy Buy Card?

You can view your EBC card details on our Customer Portal. To view EBC details click on 'Cards' tab For any further queries, you may also call us on our helpline number 1860 500 9900

What should I do if my EMI card gives an error while swiping?

Our representatives at the dealer outlet will be there to assist you for any query related to your Easy Buy Card. In case your problem is not resolved, please call us at 1860 500 9900

How do I update my CIBIL?

Please note that post closure of your loan, your CIBIL Report will be updated by us by the 20th of the next month. In case of any discrepancy please write to us at customer.care@capitalfirst.com

I am unable to recover my username and password for logging in to the app and website. What should I do?

To retrieve your username & password, please send the below SMS to +91-8390306070 from your registered mobile number with Capital First.

LOGIN <your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY>

For example, if your date of birth is 19th March, 1985, please send the SMS �LOGIN 19031985� to +91-8390306070 from your registered mobile number. We will reply back to you with the credentials.
